The staff was indifferent and while we checked in the personal conversation we heard was inappropriate! The room was dirty, hair all over the bathroom floor and a dirty Q-tip was found on the head board! GROSS! The location was not all that convenient. The pool was small and after what we came across in the room I refused to let the kids swim in it. We honestly contemplated leaving as soon as we got in the room! We stayed only one night and were glad to leave when we did! This Hotel does not come recommended.
On the long weekend for about $240 per night we got a room with jacuzzi that we could not use because it was so dirty. Motel smelledbad because of some oriental restaurant next door. There were doing construction work within the motel. Our room and

A very pleasant stay. The room was spotless. Friendly desk staff. Excellent service staff. The "Falls" water garden near the entrance is precious includes a "Maid of the mist" My 1 and only complaint was the extremely rough entrance to the parking...

Just spent a night in Room 226. Checked in/out without any issues. My room was clean, but very basic (which is okay). After reading reviews of all the hotels, I wasn't sure I wanted to stay in ANY hotel at the Falls. Got this room for free via their rewards program. The room was clean, no unusual odors, carpet and bedding in good condition. I imagine any hotel can have bad rooms but we were very pleased with ours (family of 4).
It is about 7-8 minutes to the falls. The area is pretty depressing around the hotel, but there are a number of restaurants not too far away, again, nothing too fancy but you can eat.
I took the time to write this post in hopes of helping someone, like me, that didn't know where to stay in the Niagara Falls area that would be a good value and a convenient place to stay. Both my wife and I are professionals and could afford more than the $80 a night.
I would stay here again and would recommend it to family or friends visiting the falls.

At check in the Mgt's son raised the price per night. Asked for hanicap room and expected some kind of stool in bathroom. None.-- Daily tourist booth took up all the parking. Continerntal breakfast is great.

The hotel is far from the falls and you need a car to get there but it is just a ten minute drive. The area around the hotel has a lot of stores. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff was very helpful. There were no luxuries, just a good night's sleep. It was excellent value for the money.
I am very likely
to return to the Econo Lodge at the Falls North.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

This was the best hotels on the strip. We had a great time here and the continental breakfast was definetely a plus when traveling with children! One less meal you have to pay for! The kids loved the pool and the playground. They didn't even want to ...

Don't ever stay here, what a dump. First we got here and they gave us the key to someone else's room. These poor people even had there purses in I\their room so who knows if someone could have stolen something..
We finally got in the right room and went out for the night. We came back around 2:30 am there where drunk guys all over the hallways, hitting on me. And lucky me these guys stayed in the next room. They where banging on my door trying to get in, throwing things in the hallway and their room. It scared the hell out of me. I bolted myself in the room. I had to call the front desk 5 times before someone picked up the phone. They say the cops where called and to stay locked in the room. Never asked if I was ok, never offered to come up...30 minutes later I called again b/c I was so scared and got the same thing cops are coming. Finally after an hour the cops came and it took almost 15 minutes to get these drunks out. Yelling and threatening them to go to jail. They took over 5 people out and there is no more than 4 allowed per room, so that gives you an idea about the safety in the hotel, there is none.
As I was waiting I came to find out lights didnt work, the cable wasnt turned on that I paid extra for, and after 400am I finally felt safe enough to go to bed. I turned down my bed to find pee stains in my bed. I was so sleepy I just slept on top of my bed- heck I didnt bother to call and complain b/c they wouldnt even come up to see if I was safe why would they care about my room. When I got home- I filed a complaint and was told it was my problem my room was like this b.c I didnt call to tell them. They also said that they followed all the hotel rules about the people next door so that was that. I was offered no refund or money back.
They are rude, dont care about people just want their money and I paid over 100 bucks for this crap hole. Please pay the extra 50 bucks for a nicer place where you dont have to worry about safety.
