Mediocre
Location was good.Really nasty room. Smelled bad. Stuff didn't work.“This hotel was horrible. I don't mind staying in a dive, but I expect a chain hotel to have little better standards than that. Room smelled horrible when I entered it, the bathroom ...
Stayed here for 1 night; used a coupon that made it a cheaper-night stay. Staff was attentive enough. Room was basic - all they had left was a smoking room (wer'e non-smokers, but we dealt with it). We looked at it this way - we needed a place...
Previous reviews were bad, but we found the location fantastic for our needs, the room quiet, the bed almost too soft, bed & bathroom very clean ... and no smell. The staff was pleasant. Also the breakfast is great. All the items previously...

27 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for business
The hotel is not in a nice area of the town. I was scared when I walked in and the hotel staff was behind glass. I felt unsafe walking around the dimly lit property. The room was ok, I could tell the bathroom had been renovated, but air blew onto the bed all night.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Econo Lodge West Haven.
I would not recommend it to friends.
