Decent place, a little noisy

Okay
I stopped in with my kids for one night (we were on a long road trip). It's right off the highway so the noises from the trucks was unavoidable. There was also construction right next to the hotel; more noise. Luckily my kids are deep sleepers...

Good
This hotel is perfect for a solo business traveler. Right off of Interstate 44 and convenient to the city. High speed internet and mini fridge in room. Had a problem with the AC and was immediately moved to a room right next door.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Right off of the highway. Easy off and easy on to I44.Lots of Semi Trucks. If you are on the road side you will have lots of noise. We stayed here to break up our trip to St. Louis. It was inexpensive, well lighted, close to several retail stores...

Mediocre
Location was good.Room was damp, musty and had bugs. The location was convenient and close to highway. Room was clean but damp - probably because the air conditioning was not working well. Not a pleasant stay.

Excellent
In-room coffee maker was nice extra and free USA today.Could have had a little more counter space in the breakfast area. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality; may have been a smoking room, but as a non-smoker I didn't notice; included an in-room...
67 year old female with a budget, traveling for leisure
The staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable.
The desk clerks were friendly. The continental breakfast was always ready in the morning. There was plenty of coffee and juice available. The in room coffee was very much appreciated.
I am very likely
to return to the Econo Lodge West.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
