Econo Lodge Virginia Beach Hotel

My husband and I came to VA Beach for some inexpensive R&R. The reviews were right on the money. We were quite impressed with the cleanliness of the somewhat small, but well- maintained rooms. The free daily newspaper, continental breakfast, and bikes made our stay everything we hoped it would be. We would definitely stay here again.

There no problems at all. Everyone was very courteous and friendly. The rooms, breezeways, and the lobby were clean and fresh.

This hotel made me feel excited: This was the first vacation that our family had taken in several years. The staff was very helpful in helping us find new and fun places for the kids as well as providing information on other things such as restaurants and shopping.

This was our first experience at Virginia Beach and the location of the hotel was perfect. It was clean, and the people working there were very nice! We will come back. Compared to the other hotels, this was most affordable for an oceanfront room!

I agree with the previous reviews, this is one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in. The location is great, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the continental breakfast is a nice "extra".

Considering we were right on the boardwalk, it was surprisingly quiet. Fancy, it's not, but how much time do you spend in your room on a beach vacation in the summer? The pool is very clean, in fact, all the common areas are very well maintained. We'll stay here again next time we're in Virginia Beach. That's the best review of all in my opinion.

We chose this hotel because of limited availability at others, and because of the good reviews here. We couldn't agree more!

The free bikes and continental breakfasts were a plus. The food line was orderly and short. The manager refilled items as soon as they were needed. The parking was tight, but it worked out fine as we didn't need to pull the car out a lot. The rooms were small, but very clean. This is an older 3-floor hotel with no elevator. We were on bottom floor. We walked right out to grass, then to the boardwalk, then to the ocean.

The pool was small, but with a nice fence for privacy. The staff was excellent and friendly! It's also in a great location. It's easy to walk to food, stores and nightlife. I would definitely stay here again.
