Excellent
with a budget, traveling for leisure

This has been one of the best economy hotels we have stayed at. We were visiting family for Veterans Day and the hotel was highly recommended by them and the Milwaukie Elks Lodge were the event took place. The Value and Comfort is what will bring us back while visiting Portland Oregon next year! The Econo Lodge Milwaukie is mins from Downtown Portland and Oregon City....

Southeast Portland's Best Value – Posted Nov 18, 2008

Excellent

We loved the value and cleanliness of the Econo Lodge Southeast Portland. We were in the area attending a event at the Milwaukie Elks Lodge for Veterans Day. We are sure to return next year due to this hotel only being 6 miles from Downtown Portland ...

Great Service for your buck – Posted May 16, 2008

Excellent

Family run business and very friendly. Building was in good condition and the room was extremely clean. As a bonus, there were a fridge and 2 micowaves, all for about $50. Continental breakfast was okay and it was far from downtown portland. Its ...

Mediocre

Suite had a nice Jacuzzi. No high speed Internet service. The hotel room was supposed to be a non-smoking room, yet the smell of cigarettes was strong. This hotel also had no high speed Internet service, and all the front desk people did not speak...

What Econo Lodge is everyone staying ... – Posted Feb 18, 2008

Horrible
34 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

After reading everyone elses reviews, I have to ask, what Econo Lodge is everyone staying at because I did not have great service at all. I also see that I am in my early 30's and everyone else is older than I, but still what gives here. My family stayed at this hotel a few weeks ago and the rooms were ok, nothing to brag about and the customer service was horrible. I would not stay at this hotel again.

I loved staying at this hotel, since it was close to our senior bowling tournament. The hotel staff made us feel like we had never left home. It was very comfortable and clean. We have made a recommendation to our tournament organization to have all of our bowlers stay at the Econolodge Milwaukie moving forward.

Great Hotel and Staff! – Posted Feb 13, 2008

Excellent
51 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

We just stayed at this hotel and found it to be the best in the area. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. My family has been staying at the hotel for the past five years and we are glad they told us to stay at the econolodge. I dont think the last 10 reviews are accurate, why are they all for the same day???........is someone trying to give this hotel a negative review....I always look at all the reviews, and it seems like one person is writing all the reviews....the first 3 reviews seem to be accurate and honest.

I never even made it to the hotel for our vacation. About an hour from Portland, my family had to turn around and head to the ER. I called the desk clerk and explained that I wasn't going to be able to keep my reservation and why. He started...

Great find – Posted Nov 29, 2007

Excellent

This place was great. Very affordable. Clean. Spacious. Great management. Breakfast was bagles & muffins with juice & coffee. Free high-speed internet. They upgraded our room for no additional cost. The area seems rather safe.
