I had a great stay at this Econolodge.
1) I didn't see any bugs here nor did I smell any odor in my room.
2) I believe that they may have already renovated place. The bathroom, sink, shower, etc., all appear to be new. The carpet may be a little old, other than that, I think it was very clean.
3) The room has a medium size fridge as well as a new micro-wave , and it’s very clean inside. I found them to be very useful for fixing a quick economic snack late at night since there's also a small grocery store nearby.
4) The Econolodge provides a simple continental breakfast in the morning and that was a lovely way to begin the day.
5) I had no problem understanding the front desk's English and as a matter of fact, they were extremely helpful. The front desk representative even offered his own car for us to use to drive down to the grocery store (it was a little chilly at night and not good for walking over there). How nice was that!
6) It’s in a great location, right off Ocean City Boardwalk and not far from Atlantic City. We took a Chinatown bus from New York Chinatown ($17 roundtrip bus fare but $20 cash back and $20 match play coupon by taking the bus) to Atlantic City, and then took public transit bus No. 507 bus with $1.5 fare (Runs on Atlantic Ave in Atlantic City) to Somers Point station that is 5-10 minutes of walk from the hotel. The #507 can also take you to Ocean City/Cape May. So the entire trip we don't need to pay gas nor tolls. Awesome!
7) They also provide Wifi internet connections in case you need to hook up to the internet.
