Econo Lodge Santa Cruz Hotel - Page 1

We had gone to the Highland Games in Ben Lomond on Saturday and then we had spent the night at the Econo Lodge hotel. The room was adequate for our needs and we slept well. All in all, it was a good experience.

The hotel needs to be updated and have the appliances and the heaters in working condition.

The location was excellent and the staff friendly. Smoking was permitted, there was convenient parking, no hassles, and everything worked. My advice for others is that this is the place to stay if you plan to spend the day walking or riding around, looking at redwoods, beaches, etc. and are using the motel to relax and sleep.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: You were left alone but treated in a friendly manner. The coffee was good, the breakfast room was pleasant, and people talked to each other.
