It was disgusting

39 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

I’m not sure how or when these other travelers stayed here, but this location was not acceptable for an EconoLodge.

The room and bathroom smelled of mildew, so badly that all my clothes smelled when I unpacked when I got home. The toilet bowl moved when you sat down, making the unpleasant experience even less enjoyable. I will not recommend anyone stay here. I refused to take a shower without sandals on, and I noticed that the lock on the door was broken too, adding to my sense of uneasiness.

The location was fine. I was surprised to be upgraded at no extra charge to a suite with a kitchen. With three small kids, that was a luxury!

I am very likely to return to the Econo Lodge Rutland.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The room was much smaller than we had anticipated. It wasn't too expensive, so it wasn't a big concern, but it was surprising - based on the description online.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Econo Lodge Rutland.
