Good deal - truly economy lodging! – Posted Jul 31, 2008

Excellent
58 year old female with a economy budget

Friendly staff, clean rooms - you get as much for $68 as you do by spending $135 elsewhere! Don't miss this deal - they even have a washer and dryer and computer for guests! What a great looking place too!

Good
58 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for business

We love the Rochester Econo Lodge hotel and it is the only one that we stay at when in Rochester. It has very friendly and helpful employees.

The outside side doors are locked and a card is needed to enter.

I am very likely to return to the Econo Lodge Rochester.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

More like home than my own home! – Posted Sep 15, 2007

Excellent
43 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

Seriously. All the staff were courteous and friendly and went out of their way to make my comfortable and happy. The best part of all was how quiet and peaceful it was. No screaming children or barking dogs. No busy highway noise. The hotel sits up against a quiet residential section and just a few steps away is a brand new Perkins restaurant with reasonable prices. To get to the Mayo Clinic only takes a few steps as you can step onto the shuttle just outside the door and get dropped off right at the door of the clinic. Even the downtown hotels don't have this service. Breakfast was usually ready by 5:30am (I'm an early riser) and a huge selection. The cappuccino was delicious! I really loved the wireless internet and there were two more computers in the lobby that anyone could use.

Anyone would be happy that stayed here, I'm sure of it.

Okay
53 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business

I got the last room available. Even though it was a pet friendly room, it did not stink. The bed was comfortable. The television and wireless internet worked fine.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Econo Lodge Rochester.
I might recommend it to friends.

Okay

The hotel was completely non smoking. They had a wonderful shuttle service. The Ho-Hum continental breakfast was only for carb eaters.

I am very likely to return to the Econo Lodge Rochester.
I might recommend it to friends.

Okay

The location and address were confusing. It seems the hotels there trade hotel names frequently.

The hotel personnel helped us with a shuttle bus and explained the locations of the hospitals.

I am not likely to return to the Econo Lodge Rochester.
I might recommend it to friends.

Excellent
65 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

This Econolodge is convenient, clean, and decorated very nicely, and it is very comfortable. The owners are so pleasant and accommodating. The motel takes care of all details and the breakfast is very nice for such a reasonable stay. It is comfortable when you are having to get care at the Mayo Clinic and their shuttle is very convenient.

by a traveler from Chicago, MN
50 year old female with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

We didn't have a fridge and microwave at check in, but within an hour we had one. Breakfast the next morning was terrible. Guests couldn't get juice or donuts, and there was no milk or cereal either.

I am very likely to return to the Econo Lodge Rochester.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Excellent
by a traveler from Lakeville , MN
41 year old female with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

It was better than I expected with all the amenities they offered and the help was excellent.

I felt pampered because they had a room with a fireplace to relax in and asked if there was anything we needed to just ask and when we did they were very accommodating to the matter. They made me feel welcomed.

I am very likely to return to the Econo Lodge Rochester.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
