The hot tub was broken. None of the jets would work. This is the second stay with the exact same problem. The first time it took the maintenance man a good half hour to fix the hottub. The second stay I didn't want the hassle of having someone i

Pigeon Forge is a nice midweek trip from where I live and I take my elderly mother there often. We have stayed at this hotel often and have never been disappointed. We especially love being able to walk next door to shop The Incrediable Christmas Pl

Mediocre
The hottub in our room was in such bad shape, we wouldn't dare use it. It was in serious need of being reglazed. It also appeared to be dirty. The bottom of the regular tub was soiled, so we showered with shower shoes. Our room was supposed to be a ...

I booked this hotel from priceline.com after reading all the good reviews & seeing the photos. We stayed one night. We got a room at the corner with two queen beds. It was very nice for an economy hotel. Indoor heated pool & spa. Complimentary breakfast includes cereal, muffins, bagels, coffee, tea, & juice - also to be expected from and economy hotel.
The only thing we did not enjoy about this hotel were the other guests. We stayed on a Saturday night and the pool was crowded until it closed & our towels got stolen. The walls were so thin we could hear the other guests talking in the rooms next to us. I was awakened fairly early in the morning by a guest talking loudly on her cell phone right in front of our hotel window.
I guess you should just expect a lot of loud obnoxious tourists if you stay at a hotel, in a tourist town, on the weekend.
Also, the hotel has a weird layout. The hotel lobby on second floor. so we had to go outside and around the building to find it.
Overall I would recommend this hotel if your staying in the area for a little while.

Our stay here was wonderful. We checked in a night early and there was absolutely no problem. The pool is open until 11, so we relaxed there for awhile (another plus). It has a nice-sized wading pool and pool (all indoors), with fresh towels...

Okay
Some of the photos are very misleading the pool is very very small for such a large hotel and needs to be at leasty double in size. Had a pool side room and it was on the first floor which is in a basement so no windows. On the econo lodge website...

Not only are the rooms spotless and comfy but the staff is so friendly!! The indoor pool is a really great place for the family to unwind after a fun-filled day touring the great towns of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and the gorgeous Smokies.
One of our favorites things about it are the ducks that swim in the creek behind the hotel. It's also right in the heart of Pigeon Forge so we were in walking distance of many attractions, including the Old Mill store which is fantastic!
I can't say enough good about Econo Lodge Riverside. We not only look forward to the things we'll do when we visit the area but we also look forward to our stay in this wonderful hotel.
Keep up the good work, Riverside! We're very happy guests. :-)

We just got back from our stay (11-14th). We booked through the hotel chain website but our reservation was not in their system. The staff did not hesitate to give us exactly what we had requested. We had a room inside the pool area. Being mid-week, it was not crowded. The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. The indoor heated pool actually had a nice temperature unlike some other places where the water is very cool. The rooms are slightly smaller than some other hotels but we were not there to hang out in the room all day. There was plenty of closet space, a nice refrigerator and a microwave. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was perfect. The continental breakfast had a small variety of things, which was a great way to eat light so that we could enjoy some of the local flavor at lunch. The lobby has a fireplace, some seating, a bookcase with a television and books. In addition, they have coffee and hot water available. While our little one took a nap, I spent some time there having coffee and reading one of the older history books on the shelves. We visit at least once a year and I will definitely stay there again.

We love this hotel. We have stayed here on 2 family trips, and for our wedding and honey moon. The rooms are huge and are very stylish. We love the little kitchenette with fridge and microwave. Great Value.
