I thought the hotel was perfectly fine. I had read other reviews that had me really worried. The room was clean and perfect for what we needed it for. We were only in the room to sleep. We went to a cards game and to the casinos right next door and everything was great. The staff was friendly and I would recommend this place to anyone who just needs a place downtown for a night.

Date of our stay: July 17, 2009. When we arrived in our room (322) there were dirty wet towels in the chair by the window. The bathtub was horribly filthy. There was hair and other debris still in the bathtub and the skid mat was black around the outside. Most of all, around 11:00pm there was an altercation in the room (324) next to us which we reported to the front desk immediately. It took security at least 5 minutes or more to check it out. We had to call the front desk twice and threaten to call the police ourselves before someone showed up. The lady in the altercation was screaming at the top of her lungs and it sounded like she was being beaten. The man was yelling at her and you could plainly hear the cursing. They were either physically fighting or throwing stuff up against the walls because the headboards in our room were banging up against the walls from the vibration. I had my 4 year old son in the room with us and he was extremely scared and actually said "I don't want them to beat me up like that, I'm scared." At that time we found out that the dead bolt on our door didn't not work. The police were never contacted and neither one of the two next door were made to leave. When we were leaving the next morning we met the man that was involved in the altercation with the woman next door coming out of the room. I was appauled that he was still on the premises after the incident the night before. We were going to make our complaint at the front desk when we checked out in the morning but the gentleman at the front desk had a small boy with him and we did not feel that it was appropriate to bring up the situation in front of him. I've stayed in some cheap hotels before but this was the worst experience I have ever had and I will not be returning. I will never stay in this hotel again. I honestly feared for the safety of my family and I was VERY close to leaving and the more I think about it we should have left.
