We had made a reservation several months before, when we arrived, I had the conformation paper in hand, with a conformation number, It stated the date, two queen beds, non smoking, Quadtruple AAA rate - 4 adults. and then stated the amount.The clerk refused to honor it, saying that wasn't what the room was now. We even called Corprate, they said they could not control what each hotel does, but would send me a certificate for $30. towards our next stay. It has been a month, I have contacted them, and still not seen any certificate. Then the fridge would not work, and the bathroom door would not close. One of us got stuck in the bathroom. The clerk was rude, she refused to call her manager, and just said he was not in. When we kept showing her the paper, she just said,"I don't know why they did that, but it's not what the rate is now, and she couldn't change it. What good does it do to make a reservation, if they can just change the rate when you get there? Then she told me that our room was orginally smoking. It said NON smoking on our paper.

I reached here after getting reference from choice hotels. It was happy to see the standards of the room and amenities provided. The hotel staff were friendly and sincere. I will surely come back here some other time.
We booked through Choice Hotel's phone number. The person we reached, Luke, was very friendly and extremely helpful. I will definitely call Choice Hotels or visit their site to book a place again. I've used them before and the places were great. This one is just an exception in terms of personality.
The room is clean (I'm in the room as I type), everything I asked for is here. 2 beds, nonsmoking, internet.. voila!
The man at the lobby didn't speak English very well and since I only speak one language I'll give him the benefit of admiring his skill at two or more languages but it did make his rudeness that much more irritating.
He didn't believe me when I said I had already made a reservation through Choice Hotel's 800 number. Seriously. It wasn't until he looked up my confirmation number and my credit card that he was even sort of interested in me as a customer. Very rude. Then again... with a name like Econo Lodge you can't really expect the luxury of paid-to-be-polite staff.
I checked in 2 hours early than check in time, but still they let me check in without any extra charges. I have lots of stuff to move from my car to room. I was surprised that manager him self offer me a hand. He was very help full...ya its a small...
