49 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
They are mining this motel - not maintaining it. (It is a motel, not a hotel). The fixtures and furnishings reminded me of a 30-year-old trailer house - functional, but cheap and tarnished. The bathtub had a 10-inch crack in the bottom that was siliconed. Bring a pillow. My pillow was so thin, I had to double it up to sleep on it. Didn't even have cereal or milk for the "continental" breakfast, just packaged powdered doughnuts, packaged cinnamon rolls, etc.
Positives: It was clean, staff was friendly, and it is only a couple of miles from Cedar Point Amusement Park.
Bottom line - if you're looking for an inexpensive place to sleep near Cedar Point, this is it. If your standards are a little higher for a hotel, keep looking.
