38 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

Arrived at 3PM on Saturday. Room not ready even though NO cars in parking lot. Housekeeping finally finished and we found previous occupants dirty underwear left in dresser. We also found they had left us with used coffee ingredients and condiments.

Tried to use shower but would not heat up. Sink heated fine but no luck with shower. When we attempted to tell staff, they said the water in the rooms they live in were fine and I must be doing it wrong.

Staff refused any discount or assistance since I stated I would be contacting Econolodge and posting this review.

I felt that the room was way overpriced. We ended up paying a lot for a room that was nothing special.

I am not likely to return to the Econo Lodge Mystic.
I would not recommend it to friends.

It was a good hotel. The room was clean and the front desk person was friendly.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Econo Lodge Mystic.

I requested a non-smoking room and I was given one. However, the room still had a strong odor of cigarette smoke.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Econo Lodge Mystic.
