This hotel met my expectations. It was a bit far from the city center and tourist attractions but quite accessible.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Econo Lodge Monterey.
I might recommend it to friends.

The bed was too hard. It felt like box springs.

The room card key did not work. I could not get into the room when I arrived. I was required to change my room.

They need to keep their doors locks repaired so you do not have to change rooms after you have checked in.
