43 year old with a economy budget, traveling for leisure
We stayed for 4 nights here while touring D.C. in March of 2009. It is just down the bicycle path to the Metro Station. There were no panhandlers in front of the station. There are 2 nice restaurants next to the hotel (notwithstanding what a few others said--maybe they are new) and a short drive to many more. We could use Wi-Fi in our room on the 2nd floor without any problem (but it was relatively close to the lobby). There is a washer/Dryer and microwave on the basement floor, along with public computer. There is a gas station, which is also a convenience store, one block away. It is a safe neighborhood. We will stay here again when we visit D.C.
