I have stayed at a lot of motels. The Econo Lodge in Martinez was a GREAT stay!!! The staff was very friendly and helpful!!! The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable!!! It is in a great location also!! I would definitely stay here again!

I was very disappointed. There were flies in our room. There was a dirty t-shirt left in the bathroom. The mirror fell off the wall and shattered into pieces when we closed the door. After we called the office about it, the staff just walked into our room without even knocking first! I have never been to a worse hotel in my life.

I am not likely to return to the Econo Lodge Martinez.
I would not recommend it to friends.

I didn't like the attitudes of the staff. The staff was rude, nasty, and not customer service-oriented. They did not seem to want to acknowledge my friend and me. The bathroom was nasty and one of the pillows contained a dead fly in it.

I am not likely to return to the Econo Lodge Martinez.
I would not recommend it to friends.
