They went out of their way to take care of those people who were on the run to get away from the hurricane.
This hotel made me feel welcome: We were running from Hurricane Frances and had been awake 25 hours. We stopped at a roadside rest area, but couldn't sleep and headed north to another rest area and slept on the ground. When my wife went looking for a hotel that would take pets, they allowed it.

This lodge reduced their rates for hurricane evacuees when the others around them increased their rate. This is commendable. I will now choose Econo Lodge over others.
