We stayed here Memorial weekend 2009. Our hotel room smelled like urine, especially the bathroom it was really gross. The shower head is really low. To give you an idea I am only 5'1" and the shower head was to low for me. There was a live cockroach

Disgusting hotel, overpriced for what we got. Room smelled terrible - reeked of carpet fresh, paint peeling, walls cracked, showerhead sat too low. The smell in the room was so powerful and overwhelming that I had an allergy attack and had to go to the store to get an antihistamine. I would not advise staying in this hotel. I've stayed at other hotels considered 'budget hotels,' like Days Inn and Best Western, and this Econo Lodge was far worse than any other budget hotels I've stayed in. Pictures on sidestep are misleading!

The room had missing light bulbs and instead of replacing the bulbs, they made us change rooms. There was noise all night long. The restaurant closed at six o'clock in the evening. There was a broken window in the room. The carpet was filthy. The desk clerk was not very helpful. Complimentary morning coffee was not available.
I am not likely
to return to the Econo Lodge Intown.
I would not recommend it to friends.

All the staff was pleasant and helpful. We were greeted with smiles and friendly conversation, with sympathy for our long drive. The desk clerk was able to adjust the rates to match our online reservation rate, even though it was considerably lower than their room price.
I wondered why the price for this hotel was so much less than all the others in the area. The hotel appeared to be clean, but the buildings are so old. They seriously need to be updated. The bathrooms are done in browns. That really does not give...
