Where do I start? I booked this hotel room online... through their website. The pictures showed a very calm surrounding, and seemed very spacious. We were excited about our trip because we really do not get to get out often.
When we pulled into the driveway, off of a destroyed road-way, we had to park outside in the middle of the drive because there were so many cars cluttering the drive. We went in to a very crowded lobby, where two very busy, but not too friendly clerks were taking their sweet time to get people's reservations settled. We waited for 45 minutes, standing at the counter while our clerk huffed around trying to get room-service to clean a room for us. We are then informed that we do not have a smoking room, as requested, with no apologies. We instead got a very dismissive explanation of "just don't have one". We were not given the price that we reserved the room for. I can say... They do have some really great cookies in the lobby, or so I hear. I was afraid to eat them after I saw all of the guests (did I mention there were many of them), rifling through them bare-handed.
We were given a xerox map of how to find our room, and after turning about 20 corners, and walking through rolling, dumpster trash can-filled, and extremely disgusting hallways, we found our room.
This room is cramped. There is a dresser that sits 4 inches in front of the night stand, so it is not accessible. There is major water damage to the bathroom door, very dirty, discolored carpet, a 1970's coffee maker, and a 1980's dial microwave. The interior of the refrigerator is discolored, and it doesn't cool properly. You are only allowed 1 bucket of ice. Period. No exceptions.
There are very old p-tac units in the walls for air conditioning. Only two of the rooms have the air units. The "master" room has no air. The secondary room has a door leading to the outside, so if you put kids in the smaller room, they have access to the outside. The towels for the room were just thrown onto the couch, and the burners for the stove unit wouldn't lay flat.
The atmosphere is not of a country setting. There are very strange guests here, from grungy people hanging out on balconies, to seemingly homeless men wandering around the parking lot. This place has the atmosphere of a weekly rental property for people who don't find it in their best interest of having a permanent address. The property is not maintained. There has been food trash laying in the hallway for the majority of the day.
In summary, this is not a property that I would return to. I am glad that we had decided to only stay one night in Arlington. My children are very relieved that we went to the baseball game today and they got baseball bats as souveniers. It's just a shame that it's because they are wanting to use them as protection. This can only be classified as a "crack" hotel, and I would not recommend it to anyone I know.

this hotel is a motel with long walks to get to certain rooms. on my first night after unpacking there was a roach in my shoes and tons of ants in the kitchen. the room was on the second floor. the couch had holes in the uphosltery and certain areas felt dirty. this hotel needs to be rereviewed
I visited the hotel in may of 2008.First of all it took me over an hour to get checked in due to employee lack of knowledge.the rooms were very small and not fancy at all.I stayed in the two bedroom suite.one of the rooms had no air conditioning at ...
Ouch, loved everything about the hotel but the change in price. I called and got a rate over the phone for a two day stay. When I went to check out the rate had changed drastically by over $30 a night. I was quoted one thing and then charged...
The only good thing about this place is location. If you're only interested in Six Flags, Hurricane Harbor or catching a Ranger's game it's not a bad place, but if you want better accomodations I would deifinetly look elsewhere.

We stayed on a Thursday and Friday nights. The pool was cold. We specifically stayed there for the heated pool, but weren't told that they only turn it on at 6:00 pm Friday. When I complained to the manager on Friday morning, she said something must be wrong and she'd have it fixed immediately. Later an employee told me that policy was to only start the pool heater at 6 on Friday. Shows the low opinion management has for the guests!
If I'd wanted a cold pool at a second rate motel, I could have paid much less.

Great for kids! The pool is sectioned off with 3 ft area for small kids and bigger than most. Offered towels to use at the pool. Playground area was nice could have been cleaner but not bad. Could hear next door people but just once. Not a problem....
