38 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
It was very convenient to the location of the event we were attending but I was disappointed with the condition of the room as well as the overall experience. I thought I had gotten a very fair rate but when we checked in the hotel had a sign out front advertising rooms for far less per night than we had already paid in advance. On top of that, the room was really not clean. I would stay at the Econo Lodge hotels again, but not at that one.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Econo Lodge Inn & Suites.
I might recommend it to friends.
This hotel deserves 0 stars. How do I come to say this? Let me count the ways:
1. When we booked over the phone, they offered us the AAA discounted rate of $55.95/night for our room. When we checked out they charged the full rate of $66.95....

Mediocre
We stayed here during homecoming 2006 at the University of Alabama Football Weekend. They charged triple the regular room price. This might not be criminal but it is very unethical.

It isn't easy to get into the parking lot, but once there, it is a very adequte place to stay. It is close to many food and retail locations but off the main road so it is quiet. The pool is big enough to do some laps or play around. The breakfast ...
Looked like the rooms had been redone recently.....staff was helpful when i asked about a taxi however seemed distracted as tho too much to do for one person. She was very nice, just distracted.
