We stayed here once previously and it – Posted Dec 20, 2008

Horrible

We stayed here once previously and it wasn't too bad then. This visit was a disaster! When we walked in the first room we were given, the bathroom ceiling was literally laying in the sink and on the floor. We were then given another room that...

INTERNET IS DECEIVING-don't book online – Posted Jun 17, 2008

47 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

I booked this motel on the internet and I will never do that again. The pictures of the motel and the rooms were totally deceiving. The main reason I booked this particular motel was the jacuzzi. The internet stated it was a jacuzzi for 2, well it must have been refering to 2 small children, because no way were two average sized adults getting in this jacuzzi. The woman at the front desk pretty much just blew me off when I complained about the size of the jacuzzi and said it wasn't their fault what as to what was stated on the internet. Yeah, cope out by blaming the internet instead of revising what is stated on your site. Not to mention the pillow cases had a strong odor of soured wet laundry. Continental breakfast was nothing to speak of. I will never stay in an econolodge again. BIG RIP OFF

Don't believe the internet on this one! We stayed at the Econo Lodge overnight and I couldn't wait to leave in the morning. To say the room was dingy is a compliment -- lights missing in the bathroom, dust all over, and a bedspread that had definitely seen better days. The lobby was dirty and behind the front desk was a disgrace. Since there are plenty of other choices in the area, there's no reason to waste your money on Econo Lodge.

The service at this hotel was warm and friendly. I got lost on my way to the hotel, I stopped at another hotel but could not understand the clerk at the hotel. The woman from the econo lodge called the same clerk and got directions for me. I was...

The cream-colored goo smeared and dried – Posted Jul 10, 2007

Horrible

The cream-colored goo smeared and dried on the closet door as well as the brown smear dried on the wall by the toilet paper made us believe the whole room was filthy. The wall was stained by the a/c unit and it was so noisy it kept us up all night.

Boy, can looks be deceiving. I found this hotel on the internet and from the pics posted, it looked very nice, now I’m wondering how old those pictures were.

The first room they put us in the toilet was broken and ran constantly. They happily moved us to another room which was smaller than the first room and as we found out later that evening when it cooled off, the heater was noisy so you couldn't run it at night while you were trying to sleep. Also, the lobby had a very funny smell.

this hotel is a find. Its quiet, comfortable and very affordable for the size of the room we got. New upgrades are nice. Free breakfast and wireless internet was really nice.
