Disgusting hotel, overpriced for what we got. Room smelled terrible - reeked of carpet fresh, paint peeling, walls cracked, showerhead sat too low. The smell in the room was so powerful and overwhelming that I had an allergy attack and had to go to the store to get an antihistamine. I would not advise staying in this hotel. I've stayed at other hotels considered 'budget hotels,' like Days Inn and Best Western, and this Econo Lodge was far worse than any other budget hotels I've stayed in. Pictures on sidestep are misleading!

The room had missing light bulbs and instead of replacing the bulbs, they made us change rooms. There was noise all night long. The restaurant closed at six o'clock in the evening. There was a broken window in the room. The carpet was filthy. The desk clerk was not very helpful. Complimentary morning coffee was not available.

I am not likely to return to the Econo Lodge Hotel Wilmington.
I would not recommend it to friends.

The motel was fine, I was not looking for luxury, just cleanliness, convenience and good price. The desk clerk was very helpful. When the heater did not work and we woke up very chilled, they quickly and apologetically switched us to another room. I would stay there again. The IHOP down the street is a great place for breakfast, too.

This hotel made me feel welcome: All the staff was pleasant and helpful. We were greeted with smiles and friendly conversation, with sympathy for our long drive. The desk clerk was able to adjust the rates to match our online reservation rate, even though it was considerably lower than their room price.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Econo Lodge Hotel Wilmington.
I might recommend it to friends.
