Econo Lodge High Point Hotel - Page 1

My husband and I relocated to High Point, and needed a place to stay for the evening while our apartment was being finished. I had spoken with someone in the corporate office and they confirmed I would be allowed to bring my small dog and cat, and all I would have to do is tell the girl at the front desk and there would be no problem.

Yea, no. The lady actually asked me "Can't you read? The sign says no pets. No exceptions." When her husband came out, I asked to use their phone to call the Econo Lodge Corporate office, he proceeded to violently rip the phone out of my hands and threatened to call the police while cursing at me. I highly advise no one ever stays here, it seems the customer is always wrong.

We ended up staying across the street at the Atrium Inn who were absolutely wonderful. They, too, had a "no pets" policy, but decided to make an exception for us since we were treated so horribly at the other place. I highly recommend anyone considering staying in the area stay far, far away from the Econo Lodge and enjoy the endless hospitality the Atrium Inn offers their guests.
