I was attending an orientation at UF with my 2 daughters. The college offered an on campus hotel for 100+ per night. I found the Econo Lodge and got a much lower rate. The room was not luxurious, but it was clean and comfortable and there was a microwave and small refrigerator. Bring everything else yourself. I was very satisfied considering I was just looking for a comfortable place to sleep. I will return there again when I am visiting my daughter. It's less than 5 minutes from UF. I would actually rate it a 6.5, but you can't.
