54 year old female with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

Beware. Checked out several rooms and finally took one that was said to be non smoking with 2 beds. NON SMOKING room reeked of smoke and was just extremely nasty. Young attendant smacking his gum and spiting in trash container at front desk. Past stays were always very nice. I left this time disappointed and will not return. Stay was 3rd week of July 2005

I am not likely to return to the Econo Lodge Elkhart.
I would not recommend it to friends.

The television remote was missing one of the batteries and stations were not clear. There was no listing in the room.

I am very likely to return to the Econo Lodge Elkhart.
