37 year old male with a moderate budget

I booked a room here on my way to help my family with the flooding out in Iowa. When I got there there was a problem checking in and I had to use another card. I wanted to use the card I booked the room with online. I did not bring that card with me, they told me I had to pay some other way. I should have taken that as a sign to go to another hotel. When I got to the room I opened the door to the smell of musty mildew, which I found in the bathroom along with dirty shower curtain, burn marks on the counter, hair on the floor, a ceiling that looked like it was about to fall in the tub. The room it self was very dirty. There was trash still in the trash can, and a toe nail clipping on the couch. In the parking lot was a large crowd of people that were not there for a room. They hung out there all night. I feared for my safety and for the belongings in my car. I could not sleep and left at 3am. I guess you get what you pay for, but this place really bad. I wouldn't stay here again if they paid me too.

I am not likely to return to the Econo Lodge East Indianapolis.
I would not recommend it to friends.

18 year old male with a economy budget

I would not stay here again. It was not worth the money that we paid. We were woken up by the police arresting a man in the lobby. The staff was nice but could not out weigh the condition of the hotel. Everything was dirty and defiantly would not recommend that anyone stay here. It looked as though most of the people either stayed by the hour or the week. Not for the average traveler looking for a value, pay the extra and stay near the highway down the road.

I am not likely to return to the Econo Lodge East Indianapolis.
I would not recommend it to friends.

27 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for business

This place was horrible! There were crusty stains on the toilet in our room, and the front desk clerk would clean it or move us to another room. The continental breakfast consisted of a bagel and orange juice, and the whole place smelled like mold. The front desk clerks were rude. The only person who I dealt with who was courteous was the manager on duty. After managing to stay there for one night (we were supposed to be there four nights), we checked out and found a different hotel in much better shape for about the same price. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

61 year old male with a shoestring budget, traveling for leisure

It was acceptable. The value was what I paid for. It provided lodging and that was all.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Econo Lodge East Indianapolis.
I might recommend it to friends.

47 year old female with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

My van was keyed from front to back in the hotel parking lot and the manager acted as if he could care less - a very rude gentleman; no offer of help whatsoever. I will never, ever recommend this hotel to anyone, not just because of what happened with my van, but the fact that the hotel is very nice when you walk in, all the way down the hall, to our room, and then you walk in and it looks like something that came over on the Mayflower. Everything was old, way old and it was not just our room, as I talked to others that stayed and they said the same thing about their room. The bathroom was ancient and dirty. I cannot believe I stayed there, even for a night. We were suppose to stay for two nights but decided against it and then when we saw our van, that clinched the whole deal. I am going to report this place to the BBB. I do not recommend this hotel for anyone.

I am very likely to return to the Econo Lodge East Indianapolis.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
