Econo Lodge East Hartford Hotel

Great place if your into free porn. Came across unblocked Porn channel while channel surfing! YUCK. Room was dingy, cigarette burns on floor, Although bed was comfortable and room was clean enough. Not in the best of neighborhoods. Don't even think about staying here if you are traveling with kids.

One gentleman who worked the front desk was very nice. Pretty much everybody else was on the rude side. I rented the room for a week. I had a friend who hung out with me during the day and every day after the second they asked me how many people were staying in my room. I was the only one who was actually staying there. They kept trying to charge me an extra seventy-five dollars for having another person staying in the room. They also didn't pay attention to the fact that I had paid ten dollars of my phone bill halfway through the week and tried to charge me for it again when I checked out. I had him look up my account on paper to find the note that I had paid that. I work in Hartford and need short term accommodations until I can find an apartment in the area. I ended up checking out of this hotel after a week and checking into another hotel close by. This is not because I didn't like the hotel itself, but I felt harassed and I didn't want to deal with it.

I wanted a cheap bed and a roof over my head and that was what I received. I received just what I had expected.

It is a good place to go, with comfortable rooms and a friendly staff at a fair price.

The service sucked. My room was not cleaned. The phone did not work. The headboard fell off the bed while I was sleeping on it. Their attitude was awful. I hated my stay and will never stay at another economic lodge again ever.
