Econo Lodge is Located in the heart of Cherokee, within walking distance to downtown and new IMAX theaters (summer 2008). We offer a casino shuttle to Harrahs, Continental breakfast, Free high speed access in all rooms, coffee, hairdryers, and refrigerators in most rooms. Minutes away from the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains, unto these hills outdoor drama, Indian village, and all other major attractions. Convenient, affordable, friendly. Drove up for a day trip and decided to stay the weekend. Found this place while riding around. Clean, comfy, very affordable. The pool was clean, and my 4 year old loved the playground. Room was a little dated, but we will definately stay here again.

We rented this room because it was the only one we could find in Cherokee that still had a room available for pets at the time we booked. (We used petswelcome.com and petfriendly.com for our list of possibilities, however, so there might have been other options we didn't know about.) We paid a total of $99 plus tax on a Saturday night for a double room (full beds) with a senior discount and pet fee. The room had a hair dryer, but no refrigerator. We were disappointed about the frig, because that has become a fairly standard amenity on which we have come to depend. The room was very clean and in very good shape, and our neighbor, who said she was in the cleaning business, remarked that hers was much cleaner than many she saw in her travels as well. There was a coffeemaker in the room and a continental breakfast in the office. The breakfast area was larger than most with 3-4 small tables for dining. There is very little area in which to relieve your pet, but there is a small wooded area in the rear.
This is a quiet, comfortable family oriented motel! It is spacious and withing walking distance of a nice little restaurant. The pool is a good size. It is near the creek and very relaxing. The cleanliness is moderate.

The location was very close to were we spent most of our day. The breakfast was not at all like they said it would be. There was no trouble or loud people when we stayed.

to return to the Econo Lodge Cherokee.

As soon as we walked in and turned o na light a cockroach ran off of the lamp shade then I fount another cockroach in the bathroom our air conditioner knob was broken and our room smelled quite badly, along with the fact that the phones get turned...

Me and My Husband Was there on jan 18th, 19 and it was nice people and a clean room that we got.We are going back if we can get a room on july 7th I don't see why people is knocking this motel because it's not such a bad motel with the casino a mile ...
We stayed on a Sunday Night and I have 2 small children. It was not crowded, they had a playground and a pool and a nice backyard. The room was very clean. And the price was affordable. We do plan on staying there again when we visit Cherokee again...

The location of the motel was near everything we needed. The rooms were clean and the motel was nice. Overall, it's a great place to stay, and when we go back to Cherokee, we will stay here again.
All employees were friendly and tried to make us as comfortable as they could.
