Econo Lodge Brunswick Hotel - Page 1

Ugh. I don't know where to start. Was it the missing trim molding, the ancient furniture, the too soft bed or the old soap from the previous customer left in our shower that makes this place a dive? I don't think the carpet has ever been shampooed either but we were stuck, every other place was booked solid.

I've been staying there for years and it's like visiting old friends. They have always been very accommodating and helpful.

There was no plug in the bathtub. There was yellow water from the bathtub tap. The smoke free room smelled like an ashtray. The rugs were filthy and made our feet and socks black.

This hotel made me feel welcome: The staff was extremely pleasant.

They located my room at 8 PM. The hotel is located conveniently off the highway and is in a city setting. It's good for a short-term stay but it is not a resort-type facility. I liked the clean rooms and the fresh continental breakfast.

We had a great time. We were there for three days.
