The location is right in a very busy area of Malden, but not very close to the highways. Thank goodness for GPS! It was kind of a sketchy neighborhood, not very pleasing to the eye. Staff was not very friendly or helpful. The whole place had a...

Good
I loved there free wifi it was very good and Guy at desk helped us with directions and things to do in boston. they are very closed to subway station that helps a lot.
I loved the place! Me and my family stayed here for a couple of days and, all I can say is that it is very clean, comfortable and secure. There are 3 large double beds and tv with all the greatest channels. There is 1 bathroom, but it is very clean...

avoid this place like the plague. This hotel is worse than anything I could have imagined. When we first arrived we were a little anxious about the sketchy neighborhood the hotel is located in. Check in was smooth but when we got to our rooms we were overwhelmed by the rank smell of cat urine. Our friends room also reeked of cat pee, the bathroom door did not close and the bathroom light didn't work. In our room the safe wouldn't close and the smell was so bad we called down to the front desk to request a smoking room hoping that the smell of smoke would mask some of the urine smell. So they agreed to switch us into a new room, which was even worse. The toilet wouldn't flush, they couldn't unlock our safe, we tried to open the window to air out the room but when it wasn't locked the window would fall out of the window frame, the air conditioner didn't work, the phone didn't work and when we requested to at least be moved back to the first room, they refused. Not to mention being woken up by housekeeping at 8am despite the do not disturb sign on the door. The only good thing about this place is the price. All in all, do yourself a favour and pay the extra to get a hotel room that doesn't so closely resemble hell.
I am not likely
to return to the Econo Lodge Boston/Malden.
I would not recommend it to friends.

If you like to live below the edge, stay here. There are bullet holes in the lobby window, filthy rooms, hookers in and out all night, hung-over front desk personnel. Theres no breakfast. Its a health department nightmare.
IT IS GREAT PRICE HOTEL WITH NICE ROOM AND FREE WIRELESS INTERNET CONVIENENT TO BOSTON.I WILL RECOMENT TO STAY HERE RIGHT PRICE FOR BOSTON.STAFF IS VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL.
