Grungy all the way around, spooky parking lot, disgusting bathroom, zombie staff, even for SoCal this was not a great value

We had no plans for any particular motel, but the Econo Lodge hotel had reasonable prices and they were comfortable. We decided it was time to stop driving and chose the Econo Lodge hotel to stay at.

I am very likely to return to the Econo Lodge Bakersfield.
I might recommend it to friends.

33 year old male with a economy budget, traveling for business

My room seemed rundown with lots of calk around the shower area. It looked like it was covering up some bad mold or something. It seemed to just have an old smell or some kind of bad odor in the room. I needed an ironing board and iron and was expecting it to be in the room but due to theft they had to request me to wait which made me feel I was in a bad part of town and unsafe.

I am not likely to return to the Econo Lodge Bakersfield.
I would not recommend it to friends.

It was reasonably priced, and in the right location for our trip to attend my wife's high school reunion.

I am very likely to return to the Econo Lodge Bakersfield.
I might recommend it to friends.

77 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

I was quite pleased with the motel and with the service provided. I was there to attend York Rite of Masonry grand sessions and will probably use the motel again this year.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Econo Lodge Bakersfield.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
