The rooms were not ready and again they might not ever be. Dirty with bugs and no hot water. The owner must think he is still living in India in a hut.

We had to check out as soon as we opened the door to our room. We could not even step in.

We were told that they would refund and they did only to put it back on again.

When calling recarding the mistake on doiuble billing they were rude. Told me to proof and when I stated that I would inform the main office of Econo Lodge, he told me he didn't care if I reported him to George Bush. Then he bebecame even more insulting with words I will not repeat.

Do not take even your worst enemy!!!!!!!

The staff was friendly and available. However, the room reeked of what smelled like carpet cleaner, the cable fell out of the telephone, the toilet tank had a mildewed crack in it, the paint on the bathtub was peeling, and the floor wasn't level. In order to make the room tolerable for a few days, I had to buy an air purifier and an alarm clock as there wasn't one in the room. The continental breakfast consisted of cereal in bulk bins, white toast, hot drinks, and excellent orange juice, no bagels, waffles, etc. When it comes to family friendly locations, Austintown is a pit. It's an area clearly designed to appeal to the seedier desires of men on the road. Also, you have to know the city fairly well in order to find a grocery or department store.

This hotel made me feel entertained: We don't have regular television at home. My son and I spent many hours wonderfully entertained by the Discovery Channel.
