We arrived during a power outage -- that was nobody's fault. The folks out front were nice enough, working by candles and flashlights. I checked my wife in and then drove to pick up a family member in another town, to return in the morning. If I had seen the room with the lights on I never would have left my wife there. Stains on the walls; sheets like sandpaper; broken bathroom fixtures; and carpet so filthy that my feet got visibly dirty just from walking across the room barefoot. We had reserved for 2 nights, but left after the first. It was hideous.

WE LEFT OUR VIDEO CAMERA IN THE ROOM. When I called to get them to check the room that evening they said there was no one except the desk clerk there and no one could check the room until the manager came in the next day. I asked for the manager number to call, but was told I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL AM. I called he said no one had turned our camera in and that was all he could do. Sorry I would not stay at a place that would not check that same day
