Econo Lodge Airport Sandston Motel - Page 1

It was a cheap room, perfect for a not-so-well-off college student needing a place to stay. I was looking for cheap and I got more than I expected - a clean room, good service, helpful staff, and I didn't have any problems with the patrons either. Don't expect miracles for the price, but it certainly was a clean and affordable place to sleep. I plan to return if I am in the area and need a soft bed.

My only gripe was that the water pressure was a little lacking.

We were in Richmond for my niece's graduation and had reservations through Choice for this hotel for a nonsmoking room. It smelled disgusting and the ashtray and ashes in the room made it quite unlikely it was nonsmoking. I walked in, walked right out and had an asthma attack.

It was loud, a lot of yelling and honking, and this was at 3pm. I would NOT recommend this hotel and would NEVER stay here!

The facility is well worn and it does not look to be upgraded or refurbished anytime soon. The patrons there are really noisy.

Every Econo Lodge we stay at is very nice, clean and close to everything we need.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: We had to switch rooms 2 times but the front desk was very helpful. They were courteous, friendly and very accommodating.
