Great location, close to airport and mall, but dingy rooms. They say they had been updated but it was done very cheaply. We couldn't get any extra pillows for the bed. There are a lot nicer places down in canal park but the Econlodge is one of the...

Horrible
Booked a non-smoking room, arrived to find they would only give us a smoking room since we booked on-line. The room smelled so bad it took your breath away. Bed was old, sheets and mattress pad didn't fit. It was terrible. Will never stay there...
The room was fine and the location was prefect for my stay. However, my husband decided to surprise me in the middle of the night and was given a keycard to my room. I was not contacted prior by the front desk and he was not asked for identification.

I don't know what room the other reviewer stayed in but that wasn't my experience. Room wasn't very clean. Harldy any water pressure and the mattresses were kind of lumpy. I wouldn't stay here...
