My husband and I had reserved (and pre-paid) for two nights. The room was terrible: dirty, no AC, shower leaked, smelled like smoke and a very busy street was right outside the window. They didn't clean our room after the first night. We asked th

Okay
I have stayed at the Econo Inn and had a very good stay. My only complaint is for those that have had a bad experience is. Quit your complaining and move on with your life. All Hotels make mistakes and learn from them.

Good--
--cheap for anchorage in summer--99.00 plus tax for 2 adults and 1 child.
--clean room, nothing fancy
Bad--
--drunken hotel guests down the hall kept us awake from 2-4:30 am. Manager did come finally to threaten to kick them out although the noise started an hour later. No one is at the front desk 24 hours.
--I learned from the taxi driver (more on this later) that this is the motel where the drunks go to stay.
--scary building exterior and interior.
--creepy people hanging around
--inept help
--continental breakfast consisted of tang-like drink and old croissants; coffee if needed.
--undependable shuttle--we were supposed to leave at noon to catch our flight. We arrived back at the hotel at about 11:45 only to see our shuttle van leave. The front desk said he would be back soon. He was lying. The driver went to the airport. I ended up having the front desk person call a cab. We paid for it. The cab driver was surprised to see a nice family at this motel. Thankfully, the cabbie got us to the airport on time.
The cost savings are not worth it. Avoid this place at all costs.

Horrible
Scheduled for 3 nights could only stay one. Full of drunks, desk clerk super rude, room filthy, no TP had to beg for some, if there was a zero rating that is what I would rate it.
