The Eco Inn Is An An Ecological Hotel For People That Arelooking For a Rustic,secluded Vacation. We Haverustic,ecologically Built Cabanas With Less Than 5 Starsamenities. However,it Has Been Said That We Deserve 5stars For Privacy and Relaxation. While Our Rooms Do Nothave Air Conditioned or Television, They Do However Havedirect Access To Our Beautiful Beach. No Cabana Is Locatedmore Than a 60 Yard Walk From the Beach.

My husband wanted to stay in Tulum for the night of our anniversary. We found a quiet little place on the beach. We bought a night in a "deluxe" unit $100 (no fresh water, no electricity). We checked in, had dinner in their restaurant (food and service was terrible). When we got settled into our room, no more than two hours after checking in, we noticed a large rat in our room. We went to the hotel manager/owner to check out and request our money back. He said he would not give us a refund and we should just stay in the room and the rat would not bother us. He then went on to explain to us how there are rats anywhere you go in the world. I explained to him that I understood that but rats are not usually found in hotel rooms around the world and we reminded him that it was our anniversary and we were looking to spend it somewhere romantic not in a room with rats, regardless of whether or not they would bother us. He refused a refund and we checked out anyways.
