Upscale........hardly – Posted May 09, 2008

Horrible
38 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

The lodge and meals are way over priced for it's location. Opposite an industrial park which the afternoon traffic is bumper to bumper and comes to a stand still. The rooms have paper thin walls. If the person in the room next door sneezes you can say "bless you." No food is available in the lodge however you can order from the Club House Restaurant, as long as you don't mind waiting forever for delivery. If you dine in the restaurant expect NY prices for PA food. I was told they change chefs every 6 months.

Not as advertised – Posted Mar 12, 2007

Horrible
32 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

This resort is advertised as an upscale resort. The amenities are lacking, the staff is not well-trained, dining is cafeteria style with a hefty price tag ($130 for us for a buffet dinner).

Housekeeping never made it to our room to clean, but they did replenish the amenities. Corners were cut in construction so you can hear your neighboring guests and their screaming children. No onsite dining options after 9 pm on a Friday night. The spa was booked a week out for even a manicure or men's haircut.

Overall, for the money this place is not worth the time it takes to travel there from Philly or NYC. Look elsewhere.
