male with an economy budget, traveling for leisure
My wife had to clean most of the room herself, including scrubbing the bathroom. She would not use the utensils or bed cover. Bought new utensils, bed cover & Chlorox wipes to try & sanitize the light switches, door knobs,& other surfaces. Finally on day 12, the hard wood floor was cleaned but it quickly got sticky & dirty again because dirt from the carpet tracks onto the floor.
My wife's stay was for two weeks. She repeatedly pointed out & asked for the problems to be taken care of.
On the last day the manager suggested we should have moved to another one of their hotel's 4 miles away. Shouldn't customers be able to expect a standard of maintainence & cleanliness throughout the chain's properties? I believe the problems we had are housekeeping related & hope our bad experience at this location is not indicative of the other locations.
