Horrible
Prior to checking out of my room at the Civic Center-Mariott hotel in Durham, North Carolina, I took off my engagement ring and left it on the bathroom counter to wash my hands; I had started to put on lotion, but was interrupted by a maid knocking...
I really like Marriott hotesl but this one was just not to my expectations...since i just stayed at Embassy Suites the other weekend this was NOTHING compared to that hotel! If you want to stay at a good hotel go there! The service here was ok,but it...

From the moment I checked in, it was a great experience. When traveling on business, a hotel is most valuable when it makes you feel at home, even in an uncomfortable, hectic environment. They did just that. From the doormen to the concierge desk to the lounge attendants, they were fantastic. I would definitely stay here again, even if it meant driving out of my way.
Very Good Experience Overall

Good
We enjoyed the hotel's central location, within walking distance to shopping and a variety of restaurants. The hotel also provides a free shuttle to nearby attractions, which was very convenient.
I've had numerous problems with billing and while Marriott's customer service folks have been great at trying to work things out, the hotel has been less than helpful. Bedding is comfortable, free wireless is a plus, and the concierge...

The rooms were nice and clean and the staff was friendly. The room was quite small though. We ordered a rollaway bed and there wasn't enough room to fold it out without creating a fire hazard.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Durham Marriott Convention Center.
I might recommend it to friends.

The location was very convenient for attending a variety of wedding events. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our many boxes for gifts and favors. They were very accommodating in moving family members' rooms to the same floor. Over fifty rooms had been reserved so it was nice to be together. We took over the brunch area on Sunday and the food and service was very good. The concierge staff was very friendly and accommodating to assist with any requests.
The room was very relaxing.
I am very likely
to return to the Durham Marriott Convention Center.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
