Stayed in a private owned unit, very clean and plush. All the staff very friendly and helpful. Very good quiet location. Parking garage had large spaces, no problem getting in and out. Staff was always cleaning and checking everything. I would live there if I could.

I recently returned from a week long stay at the Dunes Village Resort. On the 3rd night, I was bitten extensively at night by bed bugs. An exterminator was called in and identified bugs in both beds of the room I was staying in. Needless to say,

I loved everything , the only thing I hated was the prices. The restaurant was nice , but just a little bit to expensive for me. Clean room , great amenities , great location (close to a residential community , not crowded). Bring some extra money , but it was all well worth it! I am going back in less than 3 weeks.

Be aware of their cancellation policy. Unlike the big chains that allow you to cancel the day before, with Dunes Village you need to cancel two weeks before or you lose your deposit.
I booked in February with every intention of going. As luck would have it, my husband has to work. I called 10 days before my arrival and they refuse to refund any money.
I will never book this hotel again. I would have been okay with paying a partial fee, but the whole night?! They have lost any future revenue from me. It's not like there is a shortage of good hotels in the area.
I hope they put that $116 to good use.... Penny Wise, Pound Foolish!

Dunes village was the nicest place I have ever stayed at. Everything in the room was up to date and looked very nice. The coffee shop and the little restaurant were all very nice. The water park was absolutely amazing. Dunes Village has 2 towers and each tower has there own water park. It was very beautiful and cheap. Even though we went on March 1st (off season) it only cost us 105.00. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone. Ill definitely go back.
Other than the thin walls which we could hear moaning and stuff like that, we thought this hotel was superb!!! :-)
