Dun aoibhinn was a real highlight in our trip. Jim -the owner, knows so much about Galway and even got his friend a tour guide to show us round even though he doesn't work in the winter.

Dun Aoibhinn is close to the City Centre and also to a wonderful old Irish Pub called Cookes.

stayed here just before christmas 2007,easily the nicest place i stayed on my vacation in ireland,house full of character,old polished floors,sash windows,yet all mod cons,wifi,plasma tv,ensuite,host was exceptionally helpfull,great advice on where to go and what to do,real insider information,sent me to some really good places off the beaten track,i have already booked again for next october,i would highly reccommend this place,book in advance,i can see why it does so well,im looking forward to my return trip.

My partner and i stayed in Dun Aoibhinn Guesthouse in August 2007 and were delighted by its closeness to town and the wonderfully large room and bed. The owner was Friendly and knowledgable about the Galway region and gave us some great tips.
