I AM A SINGLE MOM THAT WANTED 1 LAST FUN WEEKEND WITH MY CHILDREN. THIS WAS BY FAR THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN. CARPET WAS SO WET YOU COULD NOT HAVE SHOES OFF IN ROOM.BURNS EVERYWHERE IN A NON SMOKING RM. SHOWER CURTAIN WAS URINATED ON, WE COULDN'T SHOWER. THERE WERE FECES HEAD LEVEL ON THE BATHRM WALLS. THE STAFF WAS AWFUL, RUDE AND NOT HELPFUL. OUR ROOM SMELLED SO BAD WE WOKE UP HAVING A DIFFICULT TIME BREATHING. CHARGES ON MY BANK CARD FOR A $47.00 DAMAGE DEPOSIT WE WERE NEVER TOLD OF, UNTIL 3 DAYS AFTER WE CHECKED OUT. THEY WOULD NOT GIVE ME MY RECIEPT FOR MY STAY AND THE MANAGER IS NOT PROFESSIONAL ENOUGH TO CORRECT ANY OF THIS. I AM GOING TO THE BBB TO FILE A REPORT AS WELL AS GOING TO CORPORATE.

Okay
First, we didn't get the room we were supposed to get ,the beds were very hard, there was a little kitchenette but we didn't need it or want it ,it also made the room extremely small ,the table and chairs were almost on top of the bed. There was a...
we stayed when we were moving out of area, parking was good for moving vehicle. Pet friendly. Good coffee. Staff was very friendly and accommodating to all of our needs including printing us directions to our destination and delivering them to our hotel room. We did not get time to use the pool/hot tub but they looked very inviting and the temp of the hot tub/sauna was great to the touch. Will definitely recommend this hotel for the friendliness of the staff and cleanliness of the hotel (room included). The extra pillows I requested when I made the reservation were in the room and set up when we arrived-nice touch.

I really loved the friendliness of the employees and how well they treated all the guests. The breakfast was delicious and it had an array of foods. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was nicely located outside of the pool area which was nice for the adults.
They gave us each special attention and they made sure we had a great stay.
I am very likely
to return to the Red Roof Inn Duluth Spirit Mountain.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

I took my two boys skiing at Spirit Mountain in March we stayed at the Travelodge.
The beds were amazingly wonderful, not a hard box like most hotels. The brand name is "Restonic". I am actually hoping to purchase one for my home. That was the biggest surprise! The room was quiet (we were on the highway side, and the traffic noises were not bad at all with the fan on.) The room and the bathroom were very clean no complaints. The water pressure was great. My son highly recommends the shower. The continental breakfast was pretty good and included cereal, muffins, you-cook-waffles (freshly made), apple, juices and milk. I had no complaints about that.
The swimming pool and hot tub were ok. The pool looked a little it could use a good cleaning, but it wasn't too bad. We used both. It was very convenient to get to the skiing area right across the highway and also just minutes away from the canal park, or downtown Duluth. Only disappointment is limited pool and hot tub hours, the boys wanted to use them later. We got discount coupons from the hotel staff, but did not use them, we always eat at Pizza Luce and also "Amazing Grace" when we are in Duluth.
We paid $82 with our AAA membership for a Saturday night and the staff was very gracious even though we were a bit late (30 min) checking out on Sunday morning! I would recommend to a friend.

We stayed at this location after making our reservations on-line. Were pleased to find that the rooms were good sized and the one we were in had a kitchenette. The safe in the room was handy but it would have been nice to know about the service...

My first stay was great. I'm handicapped and had a room by the handicapped entrance. My next stay, I was at the other end of the bldg. Morning breakfast staff on second a.m., was crabby and unfriendly. Front desk was helpful and very friendly....

Good
I was very happy with my stay at this hotel. The only thing that would stop me from returning is the fact that it is on the outskirts of town. The pool/hot tub/sauna area was great and the balcony off our room was a nice touch.
