Jackson, Missouri and its counterpart, Cape Girardeau, provide refuge for loads of weary travelers each year in their corner of southeastern Missouri. Still possessing a unique small town feel, Jackson also provides all the conveniences of much larger metropolitan areas?including self-serve gasoline and drive-up banking.. When you enter Jackson, you?ll be pleasantly surprised by the unique Bavarian architecture of the buildings. These Franconia-styled buildings were built by Drury?s very own engineers and carpenters?but they couldn?t have constructed these buildings without a hearty breakfast. In Jackson, no morning meal is heartier than Drury?s free, HOT! QUIKSTART® breakfast. Make sure you have our Belgian waffles, scrambled eggs and sausage before heading out to the Burfordville Mill and Covered Bridge Historic Site. After a day of sightseeing, head back to Drury for some free pick-me-ups.. While our wireless Internet is always available for browsers of all shapes and sizes, our indoor pool or free popcorn and soda might be just the ticket to pep you up for a small-town outing. If not, Drury?s free evening Beverage Reception is sure to do the trick before you venture to nearby Lambert?s for dinner, or any number of delicious Southeastern, MO restaurants..

The staff at the Drury was very helpful but one of the beds in our room had not had the sheets changed from the last visitor although the bed was beautifully made up. I called the manager and told him if he would bring clean sheets I would change them myself. He assured me that the bed sheets had been changed. I insisted he bring clean sheets and I let him look at the bed and he agreed that the sheets had not been changed. He then offered to give us another room. We declined because it was 10:00 p.m. and we wanted to go to bed, not change rooms.
Also, the air conditioner did not work in our room or in the room our colleagues were in. The night manager worked on the air conditioner but did not fix it.
On a positive note, the hotel was very pretty and was decorated very well. The bathroom in our room was clean and we had plenty of towels and washcloths.
