Our first visit was excellent because the hotel was brand new and nice...that is why we returned, however our second visit was awful. It took over a half hour to just check in with a very rude desk clerk. My "non-smoking" room was actually very smoked in. I complained to the desk clerk to no avail. Children were unsupervised and running wild through the halls, playing on the elevator and spilling pop all over the floors. There was a soccer tournament in town and the hotel apparently was not prepared to properly handle all of their guests. I visit the Dayton area twice a year and will never stay with this hotel again. There are many other hotel choices in this same area, I recommend staying elsewhere.

The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the Manager's Happy Hour and breakfast. We loved the oversized suite. There was a lot of room to spread out.

The Drury Inn hotel in Dayton, Ohio was outstanding for our group. The staff was very helpful, all the time, and friendly, and considerate, and we really enjoyed the cleanliness of the place.

The lady at the desk was rude. When asked why she needed my credit card, since I had booked through the internet, she said that it was just part of the procedure. She never said "have a nice night" or "thank you" - nothing!

They should fix their door lock and toilet flushing devices.

This hotel made me feel welcome: The guy at the desk tried to explain how difficult door was to unlock. He was right, that door was really difficult!

This hotel made me feel comfortable: Beds were soft. Temperature was nice and easy to control.

The parking was poor because of the time of night that I arrived. I had to park on the opposite side of the motel and walk around the building, past thick bushes that overhung onto the sidewalk, to get to the last room available. (I guess that what I deserve since I didn't have reservations).
