Driskill Hotel

This is such a nice hotel. They have great food, great history, and the rooms are all in good shape. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting downtown Austin. It is located on 6th street where you can find food, bars, and lots of live music!

The stay was great, as well as the location and the service. I loved the bar! The room was dusty and it was hard to control the temperature!

I've been to the Driskill before and it's a great historic hotel, with wonderful rooms and a charming bar. But what really stands out for me was when I accidentally left my ring in the room. I had searched the room twice before leaving and double checked to make sure I had everything. Once I got home, I realized that I didn't have my ring on and must've left it on the nightstand. The security man found it wedged under the telephone and FedExed it to me. They have wonderful integrity for returning a very valuable ring. I would definitely stay there again.

The historic, yet urban, Driskill Hotel is worth the ambience. They also have famous Chef Bull cooking for you in their dining room.

The hotel was extremely beautiful and the rooms were very nice. The spa area and the workout room were absolutely wonderful. The location was great, as we could walk to many nearby restaurants. It was a little bit expensive, but it was well worth the price.

This hotel made me feel sophisticated: It was a very high class, well maintained historic hotel. Paying that much also made me feel like I was sleeping at a hotel of higher quality and standards, which was completely true.
