Yes, I rate them a 10. No there is no pool. No heart-shaped jacuzzi. And no chocolate on your pillow. But for what they are - a combination restaurant/bar/motel, in a tiny town - they have it all: location (you can view beautiful Lake Michigan from many of the rooms), location (right on main street of the town, with shops and the lake and a shuttle to the casino right outside your door), location (an extensive snowmobile trail system to and from the motel). And as if location weren't enough - the service is great, the food is to die for, and the atmosphere at the restaurant/bar is like Cheer's - if everybody doesn't know your name when you get there, they will by the time you leave! I've been there several times over the past 10 years, and I'm looking foward to the weekend of 3/14/08 to be back again!

If you're a non-smoker, the place may not be for you, but for those who live more dangerously, Driftwood Inn ROCKS!

Clean rooms, central location, good restaurant, and a great sports bar.

The hotel had a pleasant staff, reasonable rates, a good restaurant and a convenient location. I would have liked a bath tub in addition to the shower.

This hotel made me feel welcome: I felt welcome because of the friendly reservationist, the wait staff and the cleaning staff.
