My elderly mother and I stayed at The Dresser-Palmer last weekend. It was very delightful. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast kept us full enough that we were able to eat a late lunch (avoiding crowds) and then too full...

Beautifully furnished with extremely friendly, and helpful staff. About 1 mile from the river front--nice walk through gorgeous park squares. Be sure to visit Mrs. Wilkes for lunch.
