My husband and I traveled with friends to Tulum, Mexico and stayed at Dreams Tulum. It was a spectacular resort, the grounds were beautiful, the room was exquisite and the food was wonderful beyond words. Being a travel agent, I travel frequently and was a bit worried reading reviews for Dreams Tulum before our departure. Who are these people and why in the world did they think the resort was so horrible? I believe the people that have written rude reviews are people that would obviously complain if you hung them with a new rope. Get a life people........the ocean and the beach were beautiful, the people working at Dreams were very caring and ready to meet our evey need. Upon check-in we were immediately upgraded to a suite in the newer section for no charge. We were treated like royalty every day and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room service was prompt and very tasty! No obnoxious bracelets to wear and plenty of choice in all the restaurants and not a bad meal the entire 10 days. Definitely plenty of variance and we loved the fact that we were able to put our name in for a table, wait a short bit, have a cocktail in the bar and then be seated. It was not your typical all-inclusive buffet food. The only time was ate buffet was at the World Cafe and all the other restaurants we were given menus. Awesome food!!!! If I complained about anything, it might be the fact that there were a lot of small screaming children running around but then again they were running a special where kids stayed free so I assumed there would be a lot of children, certainly not a fault of the hotel but the fault of parents assuming everyone wanted to listen to their brats. The main pool which is the "family" pool was usually a bit cloudy looking but our preference was to swim in the caribbean since we can swim in a pool anytime. The adult pool was quiet and beautiful. Too bad the swim up bar was not in the adult pool instead of the family pool. Other than that, the resort is wonderful and I would highly recommend it to everyone and would definitely book my clients with confidence. Don't buy into all the skanky reviews, since obviously those reviews are coming from people who obviously thrive on complaining. This resort was perfect and well worth the money we spent.

The Dreams resort is fantastic! It is a luxury Mexico experience at a phenomenal price. It has great service and a friendly staff and it is all inclusive!

This hotel made me feel secure: There were spa packages and upgrades provided to us at no additional cost, as bathrobes and slippers in our room. They offered prompt room service with a smile and overall concern with our enjoyment.

I am not likely to return to the Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa.
I would not recommend it to friends.
